Instructions for use of Dermatodoron ointment

Dermatodoron ointment is an anthroposophic medicine that is used to treat acute and chronic eczema.It contains extracts from Solanum dulcamara, Flos and Lysimachia nummularia, Herba as active ingredients.The ointment base consists of refined sesame oil, lanolin, yellow wax, lanolin alcohols (which contain butylated hydroxytoluene) and purified water.

Areas of application

Dermatodoron ointment is used to treat acute and chronic eczema in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.

Contraindications

Dermatodoron ointment must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to sesame oil or any of the other ingredients.The product should not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Dosage and application

Apply Dermatodoron ointment to the affected skin areas 1-2 times a day.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2-5 days, see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses should be discussed with a doctor.Do not use a double dose if you forget to use it.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Dermatodoron ointment can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Hypersensitivity reactions can occur very rarely.If you are hypersensitive to components of Dermatodoron ointment, especially wool wax alcohols, allergic reactions may occur.Sesame oil can rarely cause serious allergic reactions.

Storage

Do not store Dermatodoron ointment above 30 °C and do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the tube and carton.

Composition

10 g Dermatodoron ointment contains: 1 g glycerol extract from Solanum dulcamara, Flos rec.and 1 g glycerol extract from Lysimachia nummularia, Herba rec.Other ingredients include refined sesame oil, lanolin, yellow wax, lanolin alcohols (contain butylated hydroxytoluene) and purified water.
