Instructions for use of Dermatodoron ointment

Dermatodoron ointment is an anthroposophic medicine that is used to treat acute and chronic eczema.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and composition

The ointment contains glycerol extracts from Solanum dulcamara (bittersweet nightshade) and Lysimachia nummularia (money flower).The ointment base consists of refined sesame oil, lanolin, yellow wax, lanolin alcohols (which contain butylated hydroxytoluene) and purified water.

Areas of application

Dermatodoron ointment is used to treat acute and chronic eczema in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.

Application and dosage

Apply the ointment to the affected skin areas once or twice a day.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after two weeks.In the case of chronic illnesses, the duration of treatment should be discussed with a doctor.If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.

Precautions and warnings

Dermatodoron ointment must not be used if you are hypersensitive to sesame oil or any of the other ingredients.The ointment should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.If symptoms persist or are unclear, you should consult a doctor.Wool wax and wool wax alcohols can cause localized skin reactions, and butylated hydroxytoluene can cause skin irritation, eye irritation and mucous membrane irritation.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions can occur very rarely.If you are hypersensitive to components of the ointment, especially wool wax alcohols, allergic reactions may occur.Sesame oil can rarely cause severe allergic reactions.If you experience skin redness, itching or worsening of symptoms, you should stop use and consult a doctor.

Storage and shelf life

The medicine should not be stored above 30 °C and should not be used after the expiry date stated on the tube and carton.
