Intended use

The FIWA med sterile wound dressing is suitable for postoperative wound care as well as for the sterile treatment of minor injuries and for covering puncture sites.It is intended for external use.

Product features

The FIWA med sterile wound dressing consists of a white mesh fleece and has a particularly skin-friendly acrylic adhesive.It is permeable to air and water vapor, which promotes wound healing.In the center there is a non-stick, very absorbent wound pad.The size of the wound dressing is 8 cm x 15 cm, while the wound pad has a size of 5 cm x 9 cm.

Regulatory disclosures

The wound dressing meets the requirements of Directive 93/42/EWG and is certified according to the Medical Devices Act (MPG).It bears the CE-Class Is marking in accordance with Rule 4 and has undergone the conformity assessment procedure in accordance with Annexes VII and V. The marking is carried out in accordance with DIN EN ISO 15223-1 at all packaging levels.

Storage

The wound dressing should be stored dry, dust-free and protected from sunlight.

Notes

No prescription is required for this product.The wound dressing must not be used if the packaging is damaged or the expiry date has been exceeded.Reuse of the product is not permitted.
