Intended use

The FIWA med Sterile wound dressing is suitable for postoperative wound care as well as for the sterile care of minor injuries.It can also be used to cover puncture sites and is intended for external use.

Product features

The wound dressing consists of a white mesh fleece and has a particularly skin-friendly acrylic adhesive.It is permeable to air and water vapor, which promotes wound healing.In the center of the bandage there is a non-adhesive, highly absorbent wound pad.The size of the dressing is 10 cm x 20 cm, while the wound pad is 5 cm x 14 cm.

Regulatory disclosures

The FIWA med sterile wound dressing meets the requirements of the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EWG and is classified according to the CE-classification Class Is, Rule 4.The conformity assessment procedure includes appendix VII and V. The association bears the CE-marking as well as the marking according to DIN EN ISO 15223-1 on all packaging levels.

Storage

The wound dressing should be stored dry, dust-free and protected from sunlight.No prescription is required for this product.

Notes

The FIWA med sterile wound dressing 10x20 cm is available in a pack size of 50 pieces.The dressing must not be used if the packaging is damaged and should not be reused.Once the expiry date has passed, the dressing may no longer be used.
