The Biatain non-adhesive foam dressing is characterized by a unique 3D foam structure that enables excellent absorption.As soon as the foam structure comes into contact with wound exudate, it adapts optimally to the wound base, even under compression.The wound exudate is absorbed by the foam structure, directed vertically away from the wound and stored safely, while maintaining a moist wound environment.This creates optimal conditions for moist wound healing.The bandage is particularly suitable for wounds with particularly fragile skin.

Biatain non-adhesive is a soft and flexible bandage that offers a high level of comfort.The flattened edges reduce the risk of pressure points.The dimensions of the bandage are 15x15 cm.

Usage

The Biatain non-adhesive dressing can be used on a wide range of exuding wounds.These include leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, uninfected diabetic foot syndrome, second-degree burns, split-thickness skin donor sites, postoperative wounds, and skin abrasions.The bandage is also suitable for use under compression therapy.

Composition

Biatain non-adhesive consists of a soft and adaptable polyurethane foam dressing with a semi-permeable, bacteria- and water-repellent top film.
