The Biatain non-adhesive foam dressing is characterized by a unique 3D foam structure that enables excellent absorption.As soon as this structure comes into contact with wound exudate, it adapts optimally to the wound base, even under compression.The exudate is absorbed by the foam structure, directed vertically away from the wound and stored safely, maintaining a moist wound environment.This creates ideal conditions for moist wound healing.The bandage is particularly gentle on wounds with particularly fragile skin and offers a high level of comfort thanks to its softness and flexibility.The flattened edges reduce the risk of pressure points.

Usage

The Biatain Non-Adhesive Foam Dressing is suitable for a variety of exuding wounds including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, uninfected diabetic foot syndrome, second degree burns, split-thickness skin donor sites, post-operative wounds and skin abrasions.It can also be used as part of compression therapy.

Composition

The dressing consists of a soft and adaptable polyurethane foam with a semi-permeable, bacteria- and water-repellent top film.
