Biatain foam dressing non-adhesive is a specially developed dressing that promotes rapid healing of exuding wounds.The bandage has a unique 3D foam structure that allows excellent absorption.When this structure comes into contact with wound exudate, it adapts optimally to the wound base, even under compression.The wound exudate is absorbed by the foam structure, directed vertically away from the wound and stored safely, while maintaining a moist wound environment.This creates optimal conditions for moist wound healing.

Biatain non-adhesive is particularly suitable for wounds on particularly fragile skin.The bandage is soft and flexible, offers a high level of comfort and reduces the risk of pressure points thanks to its flattened edges.No prescription is required for this product.

Usage

Biatain non-adhesive can be used on a wide range of exuding wounds.These include leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, uninfected diabetic foot syndrome, second-degree burns, split-thickness skin donor sites, postoperative wounds, and skin abrasions.The bandage can also be used under compression therapy.

Composition

Biatain non-adhesive consists of a soft and adaptable polyurethane foam dressing.It has a semi-permeable, bacteria- and water-repellent top film.
