Dr.Jacob’s base powder is used to specifically balance nutrients and is based on natural models.Fruit and vegetables contain valuable minerals such as potassium, calcium and magnesium, but only a little sodium.The base powder contains these organic minerals based on citrate, with calcium and magnesium in a ratio of around 3:2.Potassium is the most important alkaline-forming mineral in fruits, vegetables and our body cells.

One measuring spoon (4.5 g) of Dr.Thanks to its potassium content, Jacob’s alkaline powder has the same alkaline PRAL-value as 800 g of vegetables and fruit.This means that one measuring spoon can compensate for the typical acid load of the average German population.

The base powder contains 95% citrates from mineral and plant raw materials.Citrates are natural components of many foods and our cells.They are well absorbed by the body and processed in energy metabolism.Potassium is essential for the function of nerves and muscles and for maintaining normal blood pressure.

For athletes, an isotonic alkaline vegetable drink made from one measuring spoon of alkaline powder, 500 ml of vegetable juice and 500 ml of mineral water is suitable to balance the fluid and electrolyte balance.Dr.Jacob’s base powder is on the Cologne List®.

The ingredients from Dr.Jacob’s base powder citrate base original minerals (pack size: 300 g) are:

Potassium citrate, calcium citrate, magnesium citrate, magnesium carbonate, silicon dioxide, natural flavor (citrus), zinc citrate, thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1), vitamin D3 (vegan, made from lichen).No nano-silicon dioxide is used.The product is made in Germany and is vegan.The ingredients are premium quality with no added sugar, sweeteners, sodium, artificial flavors and fillers.

Nutritional values per serving (1 measuring spoon = 4.5 g):

Potassium: 750 mg (38% NRV), Calcium: 270 mg (34% NRV), Magnesium: 185 mg (49% NRV), Zinc: 2.5 mg (25% NRV), Vitamin D3: 2.5 µg (50% NRV), Vitamin B1: 0.7 mg (64% NRV), Silicon: 20 mg.

For a daily dose (2 measuring spoons = 9 g):

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

The recommended consumption is: dissolve one level measuring spoon (4.5 g) in 300 ml of low-sodium water or sparkling water 1 to 2 times a day and preferably drink with meals.The product should be shaken before opening.If consumed in excess, it can have a laxative effect.

The full daily dose (2 servings) is suitable for people aged 15 and over.If you take the full daily dose, no additional dietary supplements with calcium or zinc are necessary.

Tip: The base powder can also be combined with aronia elixir, lactacholine or lemon juice.An isotonic citrate drink can be prepared by mixing a scoop of base powder with 1 liter of water or sparkling water and a splash of lemon juice.
