Instructions for use of Dermowas concentrate
Dermowas is a disinfecting and degreasing concentrate used to prepare a solution for use on the skin.It is used as an external additional therapy for fungal skin diseases, acne vulgaris and seborrheic skin diseases.No prescription is required for this product.

What is Dermowas and what is it used for?
Dermowas is a disinfecting and degreasing concentrate for producing a solution for use on the skin.It is used as an external additional therapy for fungal skin diseases, acne vulgaris and seborrheic skin diseases.
What should you consider before using Dermowas?
Dermowas must not be used if you are hypersensitive to dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid, 2,2',2''-nitrilotriethanol salt, ammonium dodecyl sulfate, soy, peanut, macrogol glycerol ricinoleate or any of the other ingredients of Dermowas.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Dermowas.Particular caution is required as the medicine may only be used diluted and is only intended for external treatment of diseased skin.
There are no known interactions.Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or using any other medicines.Dermowas can be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding as there are no known risks.No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive or use machines.
How to use Dermowas?
Always use Dermowas exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.Dermowas is a concentrate for producing a solution for use on the skin and may only be used diluted.
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dilution is: 1 teaspoon of Dermowas to 1/8 liter of warm water for fungal skin diseases, 1 teaspoon of Dermowas to 1 liter of warm water for acne and seborrheic skin diseases and 1 teaspoon of Dermowas to 1/8 liter of warm water for seborrheic scalp diseases.The diluted solution should be applied to the affected skin areas and removed with warm water after a short exposure time.
The frequency of use and the duration of treatment depend on the respective illness and should be discussed with your doctor or pharmacist.
What side effects are possible?
Like all medicines, Dermowas can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Very rarely, skin hypersensitivity reactions can occur.Occasionally the skin can feel tight due to excessive drying out.If you are affected by any of the side effects mentioned, stop using Dermowas and consult your doctor.
How should Dermowas be stored?
Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children.Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and bottle.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.Do not store above 25°C.Shelf life after opening: 3 months.
Contents of the pack and further information
The active ingredients are dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid, 2,2',2''-nitrilotriethanol salt and ammonium dodecyl sulfate.The other ingredients are N, N-Bis [2-(2-hydroxyethoxy)ethyl]-oleamide, formaldehyde, hexyldodecanoate, (3-sn-phosphatidyl)choline (from soybeans), macrogol glycerol ricinoleate (40) (Ph.Eur.) and purified water.
Dermowas is a uniformly clear, yellowish solution in plastic bottles.The packs contain 100 ml, 200 ml, 400 ml and 1000 ml concentrate for preparing a solution for use on the skin.
