Instructions for use of Lenicet ointment
Lenicet ointment is a traditional medicine intended for use in adults.The active ingredients in this preparation are aluminum diacetate hydroxide and algeldrate.No prescription is required for this product.It is traditionally used as a mild agent to protect the skin.This application is based on tradition and many years of experience.If signs of illness such as skin changes occur, a doctor should be consulted.
Application and dosage
Lenicet ointment should always be used exactly as described in the package leaflet or after consultation with a doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose is a thin layer on the affected skin areas twice daily.The ointment should be gently spread over the skin with your fingertips.The duration of use is not limited in principle, but should correspond to the information in the package insert.If you have any questions about use, you should contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
Lenicet ointment must not be used if there is an allergy to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients.The ointment should not be applied to open or bleeding wounds and contact with mucous membranes should be avoided.Wool wax, a component of the ointment, can cause localized skin irritation.In children, the ointment should only be used after consulting a doctor.If other medicines are used at the same time, a doctor or pharmacist should be informed.There is no sufficient experience with use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before use.
Side effects

Storage
Lenicet ointment should be kept out of the reach of children and not stored above 25°C.The expiry date should be noted and the ointment has a shelf life of four weeks after opening.
Composition and appearance
In addition to the active ingredients aluminum diacetate hydroxide and algeldrat, Lenicet ointment also contains wool wax, highly disperse silicon dioxide, yellow petroleum jelly, hard paraffin, thin paraffin, eucalyptus oil, purified turpentine oil, spiking oil and dimetikon.The ointment is yellowish-brown and available in tinplate tin tins with lids.
