Fresenius isotonic saline solution is an infusion solution that serves as a plasma isotonic fluid replacement.It is used for hypotonic and isotonic dehydration and can also be used for short-term intravascular volume replacement.It is also suitable as a carrier solution for electrolyte concentrates and compatible medications as well as for moistening dressings.

Ingredients

The solution consists of isotonic ("physiological") sodium chloride with a concentration of 0.9%.It is particularly suitable for hypochloremic acidosis and hyponatremia.
