Traumeel Gel ad us.vet.is a homeopathic medicine that is registered without specifying a therapeutic indication.A veterinary examination should be carried out before use.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Traumeel Gel ad us.vet.is used for skin application on various animals such as horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs and cats.The gel is massaged into the affected skin area several times a day, up to 3-4 times, until the symptoms subside.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used if hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients is known.

Interactions

Side effects

So far there are no known side effects.When treated with a homeopathic medicine, the symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation).In this case, the medication should be discontinued and a veterinarian consulted.If you notice any side effects in your animal, please report them to your veterinarian or pharmacist.

Dosage, type and duration of use

The gel is massaged into the affected skin area several times a day, up to 3-4 times, until the symptoms subside.The administration should not last longer than until the animal has completely healed.

Special precautions for correct use

Traumeel Gel ad us.vet.must not be placed in the eyes or on mucous membranes.If you are hypersensitive to Asteraceae, the gel should be used with caution.If you have persistent, unclear, periodic or new symptoms, fever or severe general health problems, you should consult a veterinarian immediately.In the case of diseases that require surgical treatment, Traumeel Gel ad us.vet.only be used for supportive treatment.There are no test results available on the tolerability of pregnant and lactating animals.Homeopathic medicines should only be used during pregnancy and lactation after consulting a veterinarian.

Waiting time

For pigs, horses, cattle, sheep and goats, the waiting period for edible tissue and milk is 0 days.

Special storage instructions

Medicines should be kept out of the reach of children.The expiry date is printed on the container and outer packaging.The medicine should not be used after this date.It must not be stored above 30°C.The shelf life after opening is 12 months.Any residue of the medication remaining in the container must be discarded after the expiry date has expired.

Composition

10 g of the gel contains the following active ingredients: Arnica montana Dil.D3 0.15 g, Calendula officinalis Ø 0.045 g, Hamamelis virginiana Ø 0.045 g, Echinacea Ø 0.015 g, Echinacea purpurea Ø 0.015 g, Chamomilla recutita Ø 0.015 g, Symphytum officinale e radice rec.Dil.D4 (HAB, regulation 3a) 0.01 g, Bellis perennis Ø 0.01 g, Hypericum perforatum Dil.D6 0.009 g, Achillea millefolium Ø 0.009 g, Aconitum napellus Dil.D1 0.005 g, Atropa bella-donna Dil.D1 0.005 g, Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni Dil.D6 0.004 g, Hepar sulfuris Dil.D6 0.0025g.

Other ingredients, knowledge of which is necessary for appropriate administration of the product: Carbomer 980, purified water, sodium hydroxide solution.18% (m/m), ethanol 96% by volume.-%.
