Area of application

Cough and bronchial tea is a herbal cough medicine that is used for symptoms of bronchitis and to relieve irritation in cases of catarrh of the upper respiratory tract with a dry cough.No prescription is required for this product.

100 g of medicinal tea contains the active ingredients: 40 g of ribwort plantain, 35 g of licorice root, 11 g of bitter fennel, 10 g of thyme.The other ingredient is rosehip peel.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to aniseed, anethole, one of the active ingredients or the other ingredients of cough and bronchial tea.If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, drink 1 cup of the freshly prepared tea several times a day.To do this, about 1 tablespoon full (approx. 2 - 4 g) of cough and bronchial tea is poured with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and left to steep, covered, for about 10 minutes.The tea is then strained through a tea strainer.
