Very good effect on dry and irritated eyes that lasts for a while. That is why it is also recommended overnight. The ointment was recommended to me after an eye operation to bridge the time during the night when I wasn't dripping every hour and the effect was as desired. The feeling when the ointment gets into the irritated eye is a real relief.
