Composition
The active ingredient in Anistee filter bags is anise. Each filter bag contains 1.5g of anise.
Mode of action
The ingredients of anise tea come from the anise plant and act as a natural mixture. The anise plant is an annual herb with rounded, undivided leaves at the base and heavily pinnate leaves higher up.The small white flowers are in an umbel shape and the resulting fruits are two-part with yellowish ribs.Anise is mainly grown in southern Europe, Turkey, Central Asia, India, China, Japan and Central and South America. The main effect is due to the trans-anethole contained in the essential oil. This stimulates the hairs in the airways to move faster, makes the mucus thinner and expands the bronchi, making it easier to cough up stuck mucus. In the gastrointestinal area, anise oil relieves cramps and has a similar effectiveness for flatulence as fennel or caraway.
Important notes
Caution is advised if you are allergic to spices such as anise, mugwort, dill, fennel, carrot, coriander, caraway, pepper, parsley, celery and tomatoes.
Storage
The medicine should be protected from moisture and stored in the dark, for example in a tightly closed container or in the outer carton. After the expiry date, the product should no longer be used.
