Area of application

utk uno® film-coated tablets B are a herbal medicine that is used to relieve prostate-related urinary problems in adult men.It is used in particular for problems with urination due to a benign enlargement of the prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia) in stages I to II after ALKEN or II to III after VAHLENSIECK .Treatment with utk uno should only be carried out after a medical diagnosis and serious diseases of the urinary tract have been ruled out.This medication does not correct the enlargement of the prostate itself. If you do not feel better or even feel worse after 10 days, you should consult your doctor.

utk uno contains 460 mg of dry extract of nettle root (7-14:1) as the active ingredient, using methanol 20% (V/V) as the extractant.The other ingredients include carboxymethyl starch, sodium salt;cellulose powder;croscarmellose sodium;Eudragit E 100;lactose monohydrate;highly disperse silicon dioxide;stearic acid;Talc;Titanium dioxide and 23 mg total sodium ion.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to dry extract of nettle root or any of the other ingredients.Children and adolescents under 18 years of age should not use the product.Pregnant and breastfeeding women should generally not use the medicine unless their doctor advises it.

Dosage

Always take utk uno exactly as described or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose is 1 film-coated tablet once a day, which should be taken if possible at the same time of day with sufficient liquid after a meal.There are no specific dosage recommendations for people with kidney or liver disease.The treating doctor decides on the duration of the treatment, although there are no fundamental objections to long-term use.If you have unclear or long-lasting symptoms, you should consult your doctor.In the event of an overdose, gastrointestinal problems may increase.Stop taking the medicine and consult a doctor.If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose, but continue taking it at the next prescribed time.

Intake

utk uno should, if possible, be taken at the same time of day with sufficient liquid after a meal.

Patient information
