Instructions for use of Essitol tablets

Essitol is a traditional medicine used as a mild remedy for bruises, sprains and excessive sweating.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Essitol is traditionally used for bruises, sprains, swelling, bruising, minor skin injuries, insect bites and to reduce excessive sweating.These applications are based on tradition and many years of experience.

Active ingredient and other ingredients

The active ingredient in Essitol tablets is aluminum acetate tartrate.Each tablet contains 1.0 g aluminum acetate tartrate, equivalent to 128 mg aluminum ions.The other ingredients are Macrogol 20000, Macrogol 6000, croscarmellose sodium, hydrogenated castor oil and highly dispersed silicon dioxide.

Application instructions

Essitol tablets are intended for external use only.They must be dissolved and diluted in lukewarm water before use.For compresses and cooling bandages for bruises and sprains, dissolve 1-2 tablets in a glass with 100 or 200 ml of water.To reduce excessive sweating, dissolve 1-2 tablets in a glass with 20 or 40 ml of water and brush or dab the affected skin areas.

Envelopes should not dry out and should be changed after two hours at the latest.It should only be used until the acute symptoms subside.If symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

Special precautions

Essitol must not be used if you are hypersensitive to aluminum acetate preparations or other components of the drug.The solution must not be applied to open wounds and should not come into contact with eyes or mucous membranes.

There are no sufficient studies available for use in children under twelve years of age.Essitol should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically recommended by a doctor.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Essitol can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Possible side effects include skin damage, temporary burning of the skin, local irritation, allergic reactions and hearing damage.At the first signs of skin changes or hypersensitivity reactions, treatment should be stopped and a doctor consulted.

Storage

Keep medicines out of the reach of children.Essitol must not be used after the expiry date stated on the package.The medicine should not be stored above 25°C.
