Siberian rhubarb (Rheum rhaponticum) is a medicinal plant with a long medical tradition.The stilbenes it contains belong to the group of phytoestrogens.These herbal active ingredients are similar in structure to the body's own hormone estrogen.Thanks to this property, femiLoges® noticeably relieves typical menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and sleep disorders.A clinical study with 109 menopausal women showed a significant improvement in all recorded symptoms compared to the placebo group.

Ingredients of femiLoges®: One enteric-coated tablet contains 4 mg dry extract of rhapontic rhubarb root (16-26:1);Extracting agent: aqueous calcium oxide solution (calcium oxide: purified water in a ratio of 1:38 (m/m)).The other ingredients are calcium carbonate (E170), carnauba wax, bleached wax, lactose monohydrate, macrogol 6000, macrogol 35000, magnesium stearate (Ph.Eur.) [pflanzlich], methacrylic acid-methyl methacrylate copolymer (1:1) (Ph.Eur.), microcrystalline cellulose, sodium dodecyl sulfate, povidone K 25, povidoneK 90, sucrose, talc, triethyl citrate.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to the active ingredient or one of the excipients mentioned above, femiLoges® should not be used.Existence or suspicion of an estrogen-dependent tumor, as it is not known whether rhapontic rhubarb root dry extract affects the growth of an estrogen-dependent tumor.

Dosage

Recommended use of femiLoges®: To achieve optimal effect, take one tablet of femiLoges® every day, preferably at least half an hour before breakfast or 1 to 2 hours before another meal.Long-term use of femiLoges® over several months makes sense, but it should not be taken for longer than 4 months without medical advice.

Intake

Please take the medicine whole with sufficient liquid (e.g. a glass of drinking water), if possible always at the same time of day.In the morning, at least half an hour before breakfast or one to two hours before a meal.

Patient information

If your period is disrupted or returns, or if you have persistent, unclear or new symptoms, please speak to your doctor, as these may be illnesses that require clarification by a doctor.Do not take this preparation with estrogen-containing medicines without medical advice.Effects on the ability to drive and use machines are not known.

Pregnancy

The use of femiLoges® is not advisable during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
