What is milgamma® NA and what is it used for?
milgamma® NA is a neuropathy preparation that is used for neurological systemic diseases due to a proven deficiency of vitamins B1 and B6.The active ingredients benfotiamine and vitamin B6 are essential nutrients for nerve cells.They play an important role in converting sugar into energy and are essential for nerve function.milgamma® NA is used to combat the undersupply of nerve cells with these vitamins and to help treat neurological diseases.
Active ingredients and ingredients
The active ingredients in milgamma® NA are benfotiamine and pyridoxine hydrochloride.One soft capsule contains 40 mg benfotiamine and 90 mg pyridoxine hydrochloride.The preparation also contains the following other ingredients: hard fat, refined rapeseed oil, deoiled phospholipids from soybeans (soy lecithin), 3-ethoxy-4-hydroxybenzaldehyde (ethyl vanillin), sorbitol (Ph.Eur.), glycerol 85% [pflanzlich], gelatin, iron (III) oxide (E 172), titanium dioxide (E 171).
Dosage and application
The recommended dose is 1 soft capsule milgamma® NAup to 3 times daily.The soft capsules should be taken with sufficient liquid and the time of administration can be chosen at any time.After four weeks of therapy, the doctor should decide whether further therapeutic measures are necessary.No prescription is required for this product.
Storage
Keep milgamma® NA out of the reach of children and do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the packaging.The preparation should be stored protected from light in the original packaging and not above 25°C.To protect the environment, do not dispose of medicines in wastewater.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity reactions can occur to all medicines.If an allergy to the active ingredient or one of the other ingredients of milgamma® NA is known, the preparation must not be used.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should only take medication after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
Side effects
Possible side effects of milgamma® NA can include hypersensitivity, skin reactions such as hives and rash, circulatory collapse with drop in blood pressure, local nerve problems with abnormal sensations, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and nausea.If you notice any discomfort or change during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Important notes
Caution is advised if you have an intolerance to fructose or allergies to peanuts and soy.There may be medicines with which interactions occur.Therefore, tell your doctor or pharmacist about any medicines you are already using.
