Contraindications

Calcium Verla 600 mg must not be taken if you are allergic to calcium carbonate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.The preparation should also not be used if calcium concentrations in the blood are too high, for certain diseases such as hyperfunction of the parathyroid gland, vitamin D overdose, certain tumors, certain forms of blood cancer, bone metastases, certain lung diseases, immobilization of limbs or for calcium-containing kidney stones and kidney calcification.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Calcium Verla 600 mg can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Rarely, constipation, bloating, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea may occur.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Dosage and application

The recommended dose is 1 film-coated tablet 1 - 2 times daily (corresponding to 600 - 1200 mg calcium).Take the film-coated tablets whole with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of water.You can take Calcium Verla 600 mg with food or between meals.The notch is not for dividing the tablet.It should be taken long-term.Talk to your doctor about how long you should take Calcium Verla 600 mg.

Composition

1 Film-coated tablet contains 1500 mg calcium carbonate, corresponding to 600 mg calcium.The other ingredients are carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A), povidone (K 25), microcrystalline cellulose, sodium dodecyl sulfate, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, hypromellose, thin paraffin and titanium dioxide.Calcium Verla 600 mg contains no gluten and no lactose.

Storage

Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children.You must not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton and blister pack.This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
