Instructions for use of Belladonna Ex Herba eye drops

Belladonna ex herba eye drops are an anthroposophical medicine that is used for lens clouding.It helps with disturbances in the relationship between build-up and breakdown that are associated with congestion, hardening and deposits in the eye, such as cataracts.

Active ingredients

The eye drops contain the following active ingredients: Atropa belladonna ex herba ferm 33a Dil.D5 and Rosae aetheroleum Dil.D7.It also contains sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and water for injections.

Areas of application

Belladonna ex herba eye drops are used in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature to treat disorders in the relationship between build-up and breakdown in the eye.These include congestion, hardening and deposits, such as those that occur with cataracts.

Contraindications

To date there are no known contraindications.

Precautions and warnings

The use of eye drops for cataracts should not be done without ophthalmological advice and does not replace other medicines prescribed by the doctor.There is no adequately documented experience with use in children, therefore the eye drops should not be used in children under 12 years of age.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the eye drops should only be used after consulting your doctor.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 drop should be instilled into the conjunctival sac 2 to 3 times a week or twice a day.The eye drops are available in single-dose containers and are intended for single use only after opening.The remaining amount may no longer be used.

Duration of application

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2 days, you should see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases should be agreed with the doctor.

So far there are no known side effects.

Composition

0.5 ml of the eye drops contain 0.05 g Atropa belladonna ex herba ferm 33a Dil.D5 and 0.05 g Rosae aetheroleum Dil.D7.It also contains sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and water for injections.

Dosage form and pack sizes

The eye drops are available in single-dose containers of 0.5 ml each.There are packs of 5 and 30 single-dose containers.

Application note

To open a container, it should be separated from the latch and opened by twisting off the flat wing.To use, tilt your head back, pull the lower eyelid slightly downwards with the index finger of one hand and, with the other hand, dispense a drop of the liquid into the conjunctival sac by applying light finger pressure to the container.The single-dose container should not come into contact with the eye.Then keep your eye as open as possible and move it so that the liquid is distributed well.

No prescription is required for this product. WALA Eye drops have no preservatives and are therefore also suitable for contact lens wearers.
