Instructions for use of Echinacea eye drops

Echinacea Quartz comp.Eye drops are an anthroposophical medicine that is used for superinfected, allergic conjunctivitis.The areas of application are based on anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature and include in particular superinfections in allergic conjunctivitis.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used if you are hypersensitive to one of the active ingredients or to other composite plants.For fundamental reasons, the eye drops must not be used in progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukemia, inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue, multiple sclerosis, AIDS-diseases, HIV-infections, chronic viral diseases and other autoimmune diseases.

Precautions and warnings

The use of eye drops for eye inflammation should not be done without ophthalmological advice and does not replace other medicines prescribed by the doctor.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the eye drops should only be used after consulting your doctor.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 drop should be instilled into the conjunctival sac once or twice a day or every hour.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2 days, see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions can occur very rarely.Skin rash, itching, rarely facial swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness and drop in blood pressure have been observed for medicines containing preparations from echinacea.In these cases, the medication should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.

No prescription is required for this product.

Application note

Separate a container from the latch and open it by twisting off the flat wing.Tilt your head back and use the index finger of one hand to pull the lower eyelid slightly downwards.With your other hand, dispense a drop of the liquid into the conjunctival sac by applying light finger pressure to the container.Do not bring the single-dose container into contact with your eyes!Then keep your eye as open as possible and move it so that the liquid is distributed well.

WALA Eye drops are preparations of potentized substances in a tear isotonic solution and without preservatives, therefore also suitable for contact lens wearers.

Composition

0.5 ml contains: Active ingredients: Argentum metallicum Dil.D29 aquos.0.05g;Atropa belladonna ex herba ferm 33a Dil.D14 (HAB, vs. 33a) 0.05 g;Echinacea pallida e planta tota ferm 33c Dil.D2 (HAB, Vs. 33c) 0.05 g;Quartz Dil.D19 aquos.0.05g;Rosae aetheroleum Dil.D7 (HAB, vs. 5a; solution D1 with ethanol 94% (m/m)) 0.05 g.(Components 1, 2 and 4 are raised to the power in the third to last stage and components 1 to 4 are raised together over the last two stages.)

Other ingredients: sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, water for injections.
