Euphrasia eye drops

Euphrasia eye drops are an anthroposophical medicine that is used to structure the fluid organism in the eye area.These include, for example, catarrhal conjunctivitis.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The eye drops contain the active ingredients Euphrasia ferm 33c Dil.D2 and Rosae aetheroleum Dil.D7 (HAB, vs. 5a; solution D1 with ethanol 94% (m/m)).The other ingredients include sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and water for injections.

Areas of application

Euphrasia eye drops are used for catarrhal inflammation with increased tear secretion in the eye and eyelid edema.They contain no preservatives and are therefore also suitable for contact lens wearers.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and children of all ages should instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac once or twice daily.Open a container by separating it from the latch and turning off the flat wing.Tilt your head back, pull the lower eyelid slightly downwards with the index finger of one hand and, with the other hand, pour a drop of the liquid into the conjunctival sac by applying light finger pressure to the container.Do not touch the single-dose container with your eyes.Keep your eye open as much as possible and move it so that the liquid is distributed well.

Duration of application

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2 days, see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.

Storage

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the container and the outer packaging.Once opened, the eye drops in the single-dose containers are intended for single use only.The remaining amount in the container after use may no longer be used.
