Euphrasia eye drops

Euphrasia eye drops contain the active ingredient eyebright and are an anthroposophical medicine.They are used to structure the fluid organism in the eye area, for example in catarrhal conjunctivitis.The eye drops have a calming and harmonizing effect.Since they contain no preservatives, they are also suitable for contact lens wearers.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredients in Euphrasia eye drops are Euphrasia ferm 33c Dil.D2 and Rosae aetheroleum Dil.D7.The eye drops also contain sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and water for injections.The rose petal oil contained in the eye drops has a calming and soothing effect.

Areas of application

Euphrasia eye drops are used for catarrhal inflammation with increased tear secretion in the eye and for eyelid edema.According to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, they are intended to structure the fluid organism in the eye area.

Dosage and application

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and children of all ages can instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac once or twice daily.To instill the liquid, tilt your head back, pull the lower eyelid slightly down with the index finger of one hand and pour a drop of the liquid into the conjunctival sac with the other hand.The single-dose container should not come into contact with the eye.Then keep your eye as open as possible and move it so that the liquid is distributed well.

Duration of application

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2 days, see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.

Storage

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the container and the outer packaging.Once opened, the eye drops in the single-dose containers are intended for single use only.The remaining amount in the container after use may no longer be used.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, Euphrasia eye drops should not be used.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, a doctor should be consulted before use.

Side effects

Possible side effects may include eye irritation, burning of the eyes, redness of the eyes, itching of the eyes, swelling of the eyes and watery eyes.If you notice any discomfort or change during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
