Solum oil is an anthroposophical medicine that is used to relieve symptoms of rheumatic diseases, sensitivity to weather, spinal syndromes and nerve pain (neuralgia).It promotes the heat organization and harmonizes the sensation organization.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Contraindications

Solum oil should not be used if there is inflammation or injury to the skin or if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

Precautions for use and warnings

A doctor should be consulted in the case of acute conditions that are accompanied by redness, swelling or overheating of the joints, as well as in the case of persistent or unclear symptoms.Solum oil contains wool wax, which can cause localized skin reactions.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, Solum oil should be rubbed into the affected parts of the body with 2 to 3 ml of oil once or twice a day and then wrapped with a woolen cloth.

Composition

10 g (11 ml) of Solum oil contains the following active ingredients: Aesculus hippocastanum e semine LA 25% sicc.(HAB, Vs. 12m) 0.02 g, Equisetum arvense ex herba LA 20% (HAB, Vs. 12c) 0.02 g, Lavandulae aetheroleum 0.5 g and Solum uliginosum, aqueous extract (peat extract) (drug to extractant = 1:5) 1.96 g.Other ingredients include virgin olive oil, white petroleum jelly and wool wax.

Dosage form and pack sizes

Solum oil is available as an oily rub in pack sizes of 50 ml, 100 ml and 500 ml.

Notes

Due to their natural properties, the oily and aqueous phases separate.Shake vigorously to distribute the oil evenly and the liquid becomes milky and cloudy.

A moor extract from raised moor peat (Solum uliginosum) is an essential component of Solum oil.The forces of the moor have a uniform, gentle warming, loosening and excretory effect.They strengthen and bring the life processes in the body's connective tissue metabolism back into flow.Solum oil provides relief from rheumatic pain and increases the resilience of the joints.The moor forms an invisible but noticeable protective cover and stabilizes weather-sensitive joints against external influences.Lavender essential oil has a calming and relaxing effect.After rubbing in, a woolen cloth covering the skin maintains the soothing warmth.
