Areas of application

Solum oil is used according to anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.It serves to stimulate the heat organization and to harmonize the sensory organization.These include, for example, rheumatic diseases, sensitivity to weather, spinal syndromes and nerve pain (neuralgia).

Contraindications

Solum oil should not be used if there is inflammation or injury to the skin or if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

Precautions and warnings

In acute conditions that involve redness, swelling or overheating of joints, a doctor should be consulted.This also applies to persistent or unclear symptoms that require medical clarification.The product contains wool wax, which can trigger localized skin reactions.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Like all medicines, Solum oil should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, Solum oil should be rubbed with 2 to 3 ml of oil once or twice a day, depending on the part of the body, and then wrapped with a woolen cloth.

Composition

10 g (11 ml) of Solum oil contains the following active ingredients: Aesculus hippocastanum e semine LA 25% sicc.(HAB, Vs. 12m) 0.02 g, Equisetum arvense ex herba LA 20% (HAB, Vs. 12c) 0.02 g, Lavandulae aetheroleum 0.5 g and Solum uliginosum, aqueous extract (peat extract) (drug to extractant = 1:5) 1.96 g.Other ingredients include virgin olive oil, white petroleum jelly and wool wax.

Solum oil is available as an oily rub in pack sizes of 50 ml, 100 ml and 500 ml.

Note on application

Due to their natural properties, the oily and aqueous phases separate.Shake vigorously to distribute the oil evenly and the liquid becomes milky and cloudy.
