Area of application

Rosatum healing ointment is an anthroposophic medicine that is used for various skin diseases.According to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, it is suitable for the treatment of disorders of the skin's demarcation from external influences and internal process shifts.These include, among other things, skin inflammations such as dermatitis, neurodermatitis, eczema, itching, superficial skin defects and a tendency to fungal diseases.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

The Rosatum healing ointment contains the following active ingredients: Geranii aetheroleum (pelargonium flower oil), Rosae aetheroleum (rose oil) and an aqueous colloidal silicon dioxide solution.The following additives are also included: citric acid monohydrate, thick paraffin, white petroleum jelly and wool wax.

Contraindications

The preparation should not be used if you are hypersensitive to geranium oil.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, the ointment should be rubbed into the skin 2 to 3 times a day or used as an ointment bandage.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within this time, you should consult a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases should be determined in consultation with a doctor.

The ointment is rubbed into the skin or applied as an ointment bandage.

Patient information

If you have a fever or suppuration of the skin or if you have persistent, unclear or new symptoms, you should consult a doctor.The preparation contains substances that can often cause allergies when used over a long period of time in patients with poorly healing wounds or ulcers.If you use the product on long-standing wounds, such as "open leg", bedsores due to bed rest or weeping skin rashes, please pay particular attention to the appearance of itching, redness and swelling of the surrounding skin.If you notice any such symptoms, please stop use and consult your doctor.

Pregnancy

Like all medicines, the preparation should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.If the ointment is used during breastfeeding, any remaining ointment should be removed from the breast before breastfeeding.
