Heumann Magentee Solu Vetan is a herbal medicine in the form of a tea infusion powder.It is used for cramp-like complaints in the gastrointestinal area, especially irritable stomach.No prescription is required for this product.

Composition

The active ingredients of Heumann Magentee Solu Vetan are licorice root dry extract (3-4:1), peppermint leaf dry extract (5-7:1) and peppermint oil.One measuring spoon (1.2 g) contains 195.6-272.7 mg licorice root dry extract (equivalent to 20 mg glycyrrhizic acid), 75.0 mg peppermint leaf dry extract and 5.4 mg peppermint oil.

The other ingredients are maltodextrin, spray-dried arabic gum, spray-dried glucose syrup, fructose, sucrose, highly disperse silicon dioxide, blackberry flavor and the color ammonia caramel (E 150c).

One measuring spoon of Heumann Magentee Solu Vetan contains around 0.9 g of carbohydrates, corresponding to 0.08 bread units (BE), and is therefore also suitable for diabetics.

Dosage and application

Adults and young people aged 12 and over should drink 5 to 6 cups of Heumann Magentee Solu Vetan every day.To prepare, one measuring spoonful of tea infusion powder is poured into warm water (approx. 150 ml) and mixed while stirring.The individual doses are drunk throughout the day.

Heumann Magentee Solu Vetan should not be taken for longer than 4 weeks without medical advice.If symptoms persist or recur, you should consult a doctor.

Storage

The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children.It must not be used after the expiry date stated on the carton and container.The container should be kept tightly closed.After opening, Heumann Magentee Solu Vetan has a shelf life of 3 months.

Mode of action

The active ingredients peppermint and licorice have an antispasmodic effect in the gastrointestinal area.Peppermint also promotes the flow of bile, stimulates the appetite and inhibits the growth of germs.Liquorice can relieve gastrointestinal problems.

Important notes

Heumann Magentee Solu Vetan contains fructose, glucose and sucrose (sugar).People with an intolerance to these sugars should take this into account.Sugar content should be taken into account when following a diabetes diet.
