1. What is Equisetum cum Sulfure tostum and what is it used for?

Equisetum cum Sulfur tostum is an anthroposophical medicine.It is used to stimulate kidney activity in the metabolic process, especially in cases of excretory disorders and edema, chronic and inflammatory kidney diseases, as well as accompanying states of tension and restlessness and eczematous skin changes.

2. What do you need to consider before using Equisetum cum Sulfure tostum?

Equisetum cum Sulfure tostum D6 must not be used if you are hypersensitive to milk protein.If you experience urinary retention, fever, cloudy or bloody urine, swelling or overheating of joints, or purulent skin rashes, you should consult a doctor.There is no sufficient experience with use in children under 12 years of age.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.Interactions with other medicines are not known.

3. How to use Equisetum cum Sulfure tostum?

Always use Equisetum cum Sulfure tostum exactly as your doctor has told you.The usual dose is 1 ml injected subcutaneously twice a week to once a day.The injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.The potency level suitable for treatment is selected by the doctor based on the respective clinical picture.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 1 week.In the case of chronic illnesses, consultation with the doctor is necessary.Do not use a double dose if you forget to use it.

4. What side effects are possible?

Like all medicines, Equisetum cum Sulfure tostum D6 can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Lactose contains small amounts of milk protein and can cause allergic reactions.There are no known side effects for Equisetum cum Sulfure tostum D15.Side effects can be reported to the doctor, pharmacist or the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices.

5. What else is important?

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.The triturations D1 and D3 are sensitive to moisture and must be tightly closed again after each removal.The composition includes Equisetum cum Sulfure tostum Dil.D6 aquos.and D15 aquos., made from Equisetum arvense and Sulfur, as well as sodium chloride as an other ingredient.
