Area of application

Dolobene Ibu is a pain relieving and anti-inflammatory agent that is used externally.It is used to treat swelling and inflammation of the soft tissues near the joints, such as bursa, tendons, tendon sheaths, ligaments and joint capsules.It also helps with sports and accidental injuries such as bruises, sprains and strains.Dolobene Ibu is suitable for teenagers aged 14 and over and adults.

The main active ingredient of Dolobene Ibu is ibuprofen.1 gram of the gel contains 50 milligrams of ibuprofen.The gel also contains dimethyl isosorbide, propan-2-ol, poloxamer, medium-chain triglycerides, lavender oil, bitter orange flower oil and purified water.

Contraindications

Dolobene Ibu must not be used if you are hypersensitive to ibuprofen or other substances with the same mechanism of action.Patients prone to allergies should not use the product.The gel must not be applied to open wounds or mucous membranes and should not be used under airtight dressings.

Dosage

Always use Dolobene Ibu exactly as directed in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor.Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is a 4 to 10 cm long gel strand three times a day, which corresponds to 2 to 5 grams of gel (100 to 250 milligrams of ibuprofen).Apply the gel to the skin and massage in lightly.

Your doctor should determine the duration of treatment.For rheumatic diseases, a treatment period of up to 3 weeks is generally sufficient.For sports and accident injuries, treatment can last up to 2 weeks.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

Overdoses after rubbing with the gel or other application errors have not yet been reported.If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.If you have any further questions about use, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Intake

The gel is applied to the skin and rubbed in carefully.It must not be applied to open wounds or mucous membranes and should not be used under airtight dressings.

Patient information

Particular caution is required when using the drug in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.Use in children under 14 years is not recommended.

Pregnancy

The gel containing ibuprofen must not be used over a long period of time or over large areas in the last third of pregnancy.There is no sufficient experience with the safety of use during pregnancy for humans.Since the influence of prostaglandin synthesis inhibition on pregnancy is unclear, the gel should not be used in the first six months of pregnancy.The medicine should not be used during breastfeeding.

Storage
