Stibium metallicum praeparatum D6 is an anthroposophical medicine that is used to stimulate the form processes in the structural metabolism.It can be helpful for ulcerative-inflammatory changes in the gastrointestinal tract and the skin as well as for bleeding.It is also used for allergic and catarrhal conditions of the upper respiratory tract, as an additional treatment for bronchial asthma, cardiac arrhythmias, drive and memory disorders and mood disorders.No prescription is required for this product.

Important notes

Stibium metallicum praeparatum D6 must not be used if you are hypersensitive to milk protein.There are no known contraindications for Stibium metallicum praeparatum D10 to D30.If symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.Stibium metallicum praeparatum liquid dilutions for injection should not be used in infants and small children up to the age of 5 as there is no adequately documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.There are no known interactions with other medicines.

Application

Always use Stibium metallicum praeparatum exactly as your doctor has told you.The usual dose is 1 ml subcutaneously twice weekly for D6 and D10, and 1 ml subcutaneously once weekly for D20 and D30.The injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.The duration of use should not be longer than 4 weeks without medical advice.If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.

Side effects

Stibium metallicum praeparatum D6 may cause allergic reactions because it contains lactose, which contains small amounts of milk protein.There are no known side effects for the liquid dilutions for injection from D10.If you experience side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition and dosage form

Stibium metallicum praeparatum D6, D10, D20 and D30 are available as liquid dilutions for injection.Each ampoule contains 1 ml of the active ingredient Stibium metallicum praeparatum in the respective dilution.The liquid dilutions for injection D6 and D10 contain sodium chloride as an excipient, while the liquid dilutions for injection D20 and D30 are isotonized with sodium chloride.The medicine is available in packs of 8 ampoules of 1 ml, with D6 also available in packs of 48 ampoules.
