Instructions for use of Stibium metallicum praeparatum

Stibium metallicum praeparatum are liquid dilutions for injection.This anthroposophical medicine is used according to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature to stimulate the form processes in the structural metabolism.Areas of application include ulcerative-inflammatory changes in the gastrointestinal tract and the skin as well as bleeding.It can also be used for allergic and catarrhal conditions of the upper respiratory tract, as an additional treatment for bronchial asthma, cardiac arrhythmias, drive and memory disorders and mood disorders.No prescription is required for this product.

Important notes

Stibium metallicum praeparatum D6 must not be used if you are hypersensitive to milk protein.There are no known contraindications for potencies D10 to D30.If symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.The liquid dilutions for injection should not be used in infants and small children up to the age of 5 as there is no adequately documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.Interactions with other medicines are not known.

Application

Stibium metallicum praeparatum should always be used exactly as your doctor has told you.The usual dose is 1 ml subcutaneously twice weekly for D6 and D10, and 1 ml subcutaneously once weekly for D20 and D30.The injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.The subcutaneous injection should be carried out obliquely after the injection site has been cleaned and a skin fold has been formed.After injecting, the needle should be pulled out and the injection site should be briefly pressed with a swab.It is recommended that an experienced person learn the injection technique.The medicine should not be used for longer than 4 weeks without medical advice.If an application is missed, a double dose should not be used.

Side effects

Stibium metallicum praeparatum D6 may cause allergic reactions because it contains lactose, which contains small amounts of milk protein.There are no known side effects for the liquid dilutions for injection from D10.If you experience side effects, your doctor or pharmacist should be informed.

Composition and further information

Depending on the potency, one ampoule contains Stibium metallicum praeparatum Dil.D6, D10, D20 or D30 aquos.The liquid dilutions for injection D6 and D10 contain sodium chloride as an excipient, while the potencies D20 and D30 are isotonized with sodium chloride.The medicine should not be used after the expiry date stated on the ampoules and carton.
