Dosage and instructions for use

Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults should take 2 ml of the liquid 2-3 times a day, regardless of meals.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.The liquid can be diluted with water or tea.

The duration of application is in principle not limited.If symptoms persist for a long time or recur regularly, you should consult a doctor.An overdose can lead to alcohol poisoning; small children are particularly at risk.If in doubt, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.

Contraindications

esto-gast must not be taken if you are known to be hypersensitive to nutmeg, cloves, citronella oil, cinnamon, balsam of Peru or other components of the drug.The medicine should also not be used for stomach and intestinal ulcers, inflammation of the gastric mucosa, alcohol/liver diseases, epilepsy and organic brain diseases.

Esto-gast should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to the alcohol content and insufficient examinations.

Side effects

Possible side effects include allergic skin and mucous membrane reactions.If such reactions occur, the medication should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Composition

10 ml of liquid contains the following active ingredients: citronella oil 0.0041 g, nutmeg oil 0.0041 g, cinnamon oil 0.0027 g, clove oil 0.0020 g.Other ingredients are ethanol 96% (V/V) and purified water.

Warnings

esto-gast contains 73.5% alcohol by volume.Each 2 ml intake contains up to 1.15 g of alcohol.This can pose a health risk for people with liver disease, alcoholics, epileptics, patients with organic brain diseases, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children.The effectiveness of other medicines may be reduced or increased.

Storage

The expiry date of the pack is printed on the folding box and the bottle label.esto-guest should not be used after this date.The shelf life is 3 years and 6 months after opening.The medicine should not be stored above 30°C and should be kept out of the reach of children.
