Rowachol soft capsules are a traditional medicine for treating the biliary tract.This product is available without a prescription.

Areas of application

Rowachol soft capsules are traditionally used to improve the condition of biliary problems.If the symptoms persist for more than a week or recur regularly, a doctor should be consulted.

Contraindications

Rowachol soft capsules must not be taken if you have severe liver dysfunction, obstruction of the bile ducts, gallbladder inflammation, intestinal obstruction or if you are known to be hypersensitive to essential oils or any of the ingredients.If you have gallstones, you should consult a doctor before use.

Precautions and warnings

Due to insufficient research, Rowachol soft capsules should not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding.There are also insufficient studies for use in children under 12 years of age, so the drug should not be used in this age group.

Interactions

If Rowachol soft capsules and stomach acid inhibitors are taken at the same time, the gastric juice-resistant coating on the capsules may dissolve prematurely, which can cause stomach problems and reduce the desired effect in the intestines.If you are taking other medications, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Dosage instructions

Adults and children aged 12 and over usually take an enteric-coated soft capsule 3-4 times a day about half an hour before meals.The duration of application should correspond to the information under “Areas of application”.

Side effects

So far, no side effects have been observed when taking Rowachol soft capsules.However, due to the ingredients, stomach problems, hypersensitivity reactions of the skin, eyes and mucous membranes as well as diarrhea can occasionally occur.If side effects occur, a doctor or pharmacist should be informed.

Composition

One soft capsule contains the following active ingredients: 32.0 mg levomenthol, 6.0 mg (-)-trans-menthone, 13.6 mg alpha-pinene, 3.4 mg beta-pinene, 5.0 mg endo-borneol, 2.0 mg cineole and 5.0 mg camphene.Other ingredients include virgin olive oil, gelatin, glycerol 85%, sodium propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, sodium ethyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and chlorophyllin-copper complex, sodium salt E 141.

Storage

Rowachol soft capsules should not be stored above 25°C and should not be used after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
