Softa Man Viscorub is an alcohol-based hand disinfectant in the form of a solution.It is used for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection.No prescription is required for this product.

Product features

Softa Man Viscorub hand disinfectant is a solution for use on the skin.It is available without perfume or dyes and has bactericidal, fungicidal and limited virucidal effects, including against rotaviruses.

Composition

100 ml of the solution contains the following ingredients: ethanol (100%) 45 g, 1-propanol (Ph. Eur.) 18 g, purified water, butan-2-one, glycerol, isopropyl myristate (Ph. Eur.), (hexadecyl, octadecyl) [(RS)-2-ethylhexanoat], octyldodecanol (Ph. Eur.), Edetol, acrylates (C10-30Alkyl acrylate crosspolymer), (+/-)alpha-bisabolol.

Areas of application

The hand disinfectant is used to disinfect hands, both for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection.

Dosage and instructions for use

Adolescents and adults should use 3 ml of the product 1-2 times before and/or after contact several times a day.For surgical hand disinfection, a sufficient amount is used before the procedure.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

For hygienic hand disinfection, at least 3 ml of the product should be rubbed into dry hands for 30 seconds and kept moist.If you come into contact with pathogens, the product should be used twice.For surgical hand disinfection, several portions of 2-3 ml should be rubbed into dry hands and forearms for at least 60 seconds and kept moist during the exposure time.The hands should then be allowed to dry.The product should not be used in the immediate vicinity of the eyes or open wounds.If the solution comes into contact with the eyes, the opened eyes should be washed with running water for several minutes.

The duration of use depends on the type of complaint and/or duration of the illness and is therefore only determined by your doctor.If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.Pay attention to careful dosage, especially for infants, small children and older people.The dosage prescribed by the doctor may differ from the information in the package insert.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used if you are hypersensitive to the ingredients.According to current knowledge, there is no evidence against its use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Side effects

Possible undesirable effects may include skin irritation, skin irritation, skin redness, burning sensation on the skin, dry skin (xeroderma) and contact allergy.If you notice any discomfort or change during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
