Active ingredients and ingredients

Dosage and application
Adults take one tablet whole with a glass of water 15-30 minutes before going to bed.If you have more trouble falling asleep, the dose can be increased to a maximum of 2 tablets per day.Treatment should be as short as possible and generally last no longer than two weeks.After taking it, you should ensure sufficient sleep of 7 to 8 hours.
Contraindications
Schlafsterne tablets must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to doxylamine or other antihistamines, acute asthma attack, glaucoma (angle-closure glaucoma), adrenal tumor (pheochromocytoma), enlargement of the prostate gland (prostate hypertrophy) with residual urine formation, acute poisoning by alcohol, sleeping pills or painkillers as well as psychotropic drugs (neuroleptics, tranquilizers, antidepressants,lithium) and seizure disorders.Children and adolescents should not be treated with the medicine.
Side effects
Possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, appetite disturbances, dry mouth, headache, dizziness, insomnia, nightmares, restlessness, agitation, difficulty concentrating, depression, delirium (confusion), hallucinations, muscle weakness, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), disturbance of the eye's near and far focus (accommodation), increase in intraocular pressure, feeling of stuffy nose, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, rapid pulse,Cardiac arrhythmias, narrowing of the airways, problems with urination and tremors.
Important notes

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
