Instructions for use of Helixor M 10 mg

Helixor® is an anthroposophic medicine that is used for the extended treatment of tumor diseases.It contains an extract of fresh mistletoe, which, depending on the product variant, is made from pine mistletoe, apple tree mistletoe or pine mistletoe.The solution for injection is prepared with water for injections and sodium chloride as an extractant.

Areas of application

In accordance with the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, Helixor® is used in adults to stimulate form and integration forces to dissolve and reintegrate growth processes that have become independent.These include malignant tumor diseases, including those with accompanying disorders of the blood-forming organs, benign tumor diseases, defined precancerous lesions and the prevention of relapses after tumor operations.

Active ingredients and composition

Helixor® is available in different strengths depending on the amount of fresh plant material used.In addition to the mistletoe extract, the injection solution also contains sodium chloride and water for injection purposes.The specific ingredients and quantities vary depending on the product variant (Helixor A, M, P) and strength.

Application

Helixor® is administered by subcutaneous injection, preferably close to the tumor or metastases.The usual dosage is 2-3 injections per week, starting with a low dose and increasing gradually.The optimal dose is determined individually and can be adjusted depending on the patient's reaction.

During treatment, it is important to pay attention to possible reactions such as local inflammation, fever or flu-like symptoms.In case of excessive reactions, the dose should be reduced or use temporarily discontinued.

Side effects

Possible side effects include local inflammatory reactions at the injection site, fever, flu-like symptoms and allergic reactions.If a fever above 38 °C or severe local reactions persists for more than three days, a doctor should be consulted.

Storage instructions

Helixor® should be stored in the refrigerator and protected from light.The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
