The Bad Heilbrunner Gastrimint stomach tablets are used for various acid-related stomach problems.These include hyperacidity of the stomach, stomach pressure and feeling of fullness as well as heartburn and acid belching.The active ingredient magnesium trisilicate binds and neutralizes stomach acid, thereby alleviating the symptoms.

Contraindications

The tablets should not be used in higher doses over a long period of time without regular monitoring of serum magnesium levels if renal function is impaired.In addition, people who are hypersensitive to the ingredients should not take the tablets.There is no sufficient information for children and adolescents under 18 years of age, so a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted in such cases.Medical advice should also be sought before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Interactions with other agents

Composition

Each chewable tablet contains 500 mg of magnesium trisilicate as the active ingredient.Other ingredients include sorbitol, corn starch, cellulose, magnesium stearate, peppermint flavor, menthol and saccharin sodium.

Storage instructions

The medicine should be stored dry and not above 25°C.It must be stored carefully and out of the reach of children.After the expiry date, the medicine should no longer be used.
