Ichthosin cream is a dermatic that is used to treat mild forms of neurodermatitis and other eczema diseases.The active ingredient sodium bituminosulfonate, light, belongs to the group of sulfonated shale oils.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Ichthosin Cream contains the active ingredient sodium bituminosulfonate, light. Other ingredients include propylene glycol, glycerol monostearate, cetyl alcohol, medium-chain triglycerides, poly(oxyethylene)-20-glycerol monostearate, white petroleum jelly and purified water.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to sodium bituminosulfonate, light, other sulfonated shale oils or any of the other ingredients.Ichthosin cream should also not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Dosage and application

Apply Ichthosin Cream thinly to the affected skin areas three times a day.Treatment can be continued until the symptoms subside, but should not last longer than four weeks.Clean the affected area before use and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards.Avoid contact with mucous membranes, eyes and open skin areas.

Side effects

In individual cases, skin irritation such as redness or itching may occur.If you are hypersensitive to sodium bituminosulfonate, light or other components of the cream, allergic reactions may occur.If you experience skin irritation or allergic symptoms, you should discontinue use and contact your doctor.

Storage

Keep Ichthosin cream out of the reach of children and do not store the medicine above 30 °C.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
