Areas of application

Aurica caraway tea is used for digestive problems with mild cramps in the gastrointestinal area, a feeling of fullness and flatulence.The tea supports the digestion of fatty foods, has an antispasmodic effect and stimulates the appetite.Caraway tea is also popular with infants to relieve 3-month colic.

Composition

The medicinally active ingredient in Aurica caraway tea is caraway.The caraway fruits contain essential oils such as carvone and flavonoids, which have antispasmodic and flatulent effects.Caraway oil also inhibits the growth of bacteria, viruses and fungi.

Application and dosage

To prepare the tea infusion, boiling water (approx. 150 ml) is poured over about 1/2 teaspoon (approx. 1.8 g) of crushed caraway tea shortly before use and passed through a tea strainer after about 10 to 15 minutes.Unless otherwise prescribed, a cup of the tea infusion is drunk 1 to 3 times a day.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

In the case of acute symptoms that last longer than a week or that recur periodically, we recommend consulting a doctor.

Contraindications

There are no known contraindications.However, caution is advised if you are allergic to spices, essential oils, turpentine oil, coumarins, phenol, cinnamon, birch, poplar buds, propolis, valerian, turmeric, rosin, parabens or salicylic acid.
