Schoenenberger NatuPur is a herbal laxative based on Indian psyllium seeds.It is used to treat constipation and the formation of loose stools, especially when easier bowel movement is desired.This can be the case with tears in the anal mucosa, hemorrhoids, after rectal-anal surgery and during pregnancy.It also supports diarrhea of various causes and irritable bowel syndrome.

No prescription is required for this product.

Schoenenberger NatuPur is a well-tolerated and reliable laxative.The effect is based on the mild plant mucus that is released when the seeds soak in water.This mucus causes the sluggish intestine to move and resume its activity.Since there is no risk of overdosing, the first application should be with the contents of 2 sachets; you can then try to reduce the dosage to the contents of one sachet.

Adequate fluid intake is important.The effect can be expected after a few hours.Schoenenberger NatuPur has a regulating effect on diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome and is gluten-free.It supports a cholesterol-conscious diet, does not cause habituation and has no undesirable side effects even when used for a long time.Therefore it can also be taken during pregnancy.

Application and dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, a bag of Indian psyllium seeds is taken several times a day after pre-soaking with a little water (soak in approx. 100 ml of water for approx. 15 minutes) and then drinking 1 to 2 glasses of water.An interval of half an hour to an hour should be maintained after taking medication.The grains are intended for ingestion.

If diarrhea lasts longer than two days or is accompanied by blood or an increase in temperature, you should consult a doctor.For diabetics, the product can be taken in the specified dosage without taking BE into account.It contains 25 kJ (6 kcal) per sachet.

Contraindications

The ingredients of Indian psyllium act as a natural mixture.Indian psyllium seeds owe their laxative effect to their high mucus content.This slime can swell up to 40 times its original volume in water.Due to this increase in volume, psyllium seeds make the intestinal contents more supple and voluminous.The stretching of the intestinal wall stimulates intestinal movement so that the intestinal contents are passed through the body more quickly.In addition, the seed coats can also bind excess water in the stool and thus solidify it.

Storage

The medicine must be protected from moisture and stored in the dark.It should not be used after the expiry date.The expiry date of this pack is printed on the folding box (bottom flap) and the container.After opening, the medicine can be stored in the refrigerator at 2 °C to 8 °C for 2 weeks.
