Lefax chewable tablets are a medicine to relieve gas-related symptoms such as bloating, tightness in the upper abdomen and cramps. They contain the active ingredient simeticon, which frees trapped air in the stomach and intestines. The medicine works quickly and is safe. It is suitable for children as young as six years old and is easy to take because the tablets can be chewed without water. Lefax chewable tablets are therefore ideal for when you are on the go. They should be taken with or after meals and can also be used before bedtime if needed. The dosage depends on the age: children aged 6-14 years take one chewable tablet three to four times a day, adolescents and adults take one to two chewable tablets up to four times a day. If symptoms persist for a longer period of time or if new symptoms occur, a doctor should be consulted. Side effects are not known so far. People who are allergic to certain spices, glucose or sucrose should exercise caution. The medicine should be stored away from heat.
