Area of application

The product is a mineral preparation that is used in cases of proven magnesium deficiency, especially if it causes neuromuscular disorders.It helps to normalize muscle activity.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each chewable tablet contains 1803 mg magnesium DL-hydrogenaspartate 4-water, which corresponds to 121.5 mg magnesium ions.In addition, the preparation contains the following excipients: anhydrous citric acid, calcium salts of fatty acids (C16-C24), glycerol (mono/di/tri) alkanoate (C12-C18), glycerol 85%, sodium cyclamate, saccharin sodium, highly disperse silicon dioxide, 197.5 mg sorbitol, 0.016 BE carbohydrates and lemon aroma.

Contraindications

The preparation must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to magnesium bis(hydrogenDL-aspartate) 4H2O or any of the other ingredients.The preparation should also not be used in cases of severe kidney dysfunction or conduction disorders in the heart (AV block).In such cases, it should be checked whether the electrolyte balance results in a contraindication.

Dosage

Always take the product exactly as directed in the instructions for use.Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose for adults and adolescents is one chewable tablet three times a day, which corresponds to 364.5 mg of magnesium.Children aged 6 years and over should take half a chewable tablet three times a day, which corresponds to 182.25 mg of magnesium.The dosage depends on the degree of magnesium deficiency and can be increased in severe deficiency conditions.

The preparation should be taken until the magnesium deficiency is corrected.In the event of an overdose, the preparation should be discontinued or the daily dose reduced.If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose, but continue taking it as prescribed.

Intake

The chewable tablets should be chewed and, if necessary, taken with some liquid before meals.

Patient information

Particular caution is required in cases of renal impairment.Long-term use in high doses should be avoided.When used as intended, the preparation cannot cause any impairment of the ability to react, so no special precautionary measures are necessary.
