Nortase hard capsules are an enzyme preparation for the relief of digestive complaints caused by impaired pancreatic function. This digestive weakness, also called exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough digestive enzymes or does not release any. Nortase contains rizoenzymes, which are obtained from rice fungus cultures and support the formation of the missing enzymes. This enables adequate digestion of fats, carbohydrates and proteins. By taking Nortase, digestive complaints such as bloating, flatulence, diarrhoea and abdominal pain can be relieved. Nortase is vegetarian and contains no animal pancreatin. The dosage and instructions for use should be determined by the attending physician. When using Nortase, it should be noted that it contains lactose, so people with intolerance should consult a doctor before taking it.
