Biofax® classic

Biofax® classic is a traditional herbal medicine that supports the excretory function of the kidneys.It helps to gently and naturally flush excess water from the tissue, which can reduce feelings of tension and swelling.The mineral balance remains in balance.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each Biofax® classic capsule contains the following active ingredients:

15 mg dry extract from birch leaves (4-8:1), prepared with water as an extractant.

14 mg dry extract of hake root (6-9:1), prepared with 20% ethanol as an extractant.

14 mg dry extract from common bean pods (8-14:1), prepared with water as an extractant.

Other ingredients include maltodextrin, magnesium distearate, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate-2-water, colloidal silicon dioxide, gelatin, indigo carmine, titanium dioxide, iron (III) oxide, purified water and glucose solution.

Area of application

Biofax® classic is traditionally used to support the excretory function of the kidneys.It stimulates kidney function and increases urine output, which can help with water retention.However, it is important to note that if you have unclear or persistent symptoms, pain in the kidney area, blood in the urine, acute urinary retention or problems with urination, you should consult a doctor.

Mode of action

Biofax® classic supports the body in natural drainage.The combination of birch leaves, hackle root and common bean pods gently stimulates water excretion by the kidneys without flushing out valuable electrolytes.This can help reduce swelling and increase comfort.An additional effect can be weight reduction because less water is stored in the tissue.

Contraindications

Biofax® classic should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to one of the ingredients or to birch pollen.The product must also not be used if there is organ-related water retention due to restricted heart or kidney activity or circulatory diseases.It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age or during pregnancy or breastfeeding as there is insufficient data.

Dosage and intake

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over usually take 1 capsule 3 times a day, preferably after meals and with sufficient fluid.The capsules should be swallowed whole and not chewed.The traditional duration of use is 2 to 4 weeks, although sufficient fluid intake should be ensured.

If symptoms persist or side effects occur, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.If you experience pain in the kidney area, difficulty urinating, blood in the urine or acute urinary retention, you should consult a doctor immediately.There is insufficient data for children under 12 years of age, so the product should not be used in this age group.No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

The safety of Biofax® classic during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been studied.Therefore, taking the product during these periods is not recommended.The use should also be carefully considered by women of childbearing age who are not using contraception.
