The herbal medicine contains valerian root extract as the main active ingredient.One tablet contains 450 mg of valerian root extract, with ethanol 70% (V/V) serving as the extractant.

The other ingredients include arabic gum, carnauba wax, calcium carbonate (E170), bleached wax, carmellose sodium, cellulose powder, spray-dried glucose syrup (ph. Eur.), sucrose (sucrose), shellac, colloidal silicon dioxide, stearic acid (ph. Eur.), talc and titanium dioxide (E171).

Mode of action

This medicine has a psychologically harmonizing effect and helps to relieve nervous restlessness.During the day it promotes a calmer state without impairing performance.In the evening it helps you fall asleep faster and better.Due to its herbal composition, it is well tolerated and can be taken over a longer period of time.It also increases concentration and mental performance.For optimal effect, it is recommended to take it for at least two weeks.

Area of application

The product can be used for nervous restlessness caused by stress, hectic pace or exams, as well as to promote sleep.

Dosage

If you have nervous restlessness, it is recommended to take one tablet three times a day.If you have trouble falling asleep, one tablet can be taken half an hour to an hour before going to bed.One tablet contains 2 mg of valerian root.

For diabetics: One tablet is equivalent to 0.031 bread units (BE).

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.It is not suitable for children under 12 years of age and should not be taken in combination with barbiturates (sleeping pills and sedatives).

Notes

No prescription is required for this product.It is not addictive and can therefore be taken for a long time.It should not be taken up to two hours before actively participating in traffic, operating machines or working without a secure footing.This is particularly true in conjunction with alcohol, as it can impair responsiveness and ability to react.
