METEOZYM is a medicine used to treat pancreatic dysfunction that can cause digestive problems and flatulence. It contains pancreatin from porcine pancreas with lipase, amylase and proteases as well as simeticon. METEOZYM should be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid with meals. The dosage is 1-2 tablets 3 times a day, but the total dose should not be exceeded. The medicine must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients or if there is inflammation of the pancreas. Side effects may include irritation of the mucous membranes in the gastrointestinal tract and around the anus. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
