METEOZYM is a gastrointestinal medicine and is used to treat indigestion (maldigestion) due to insufficient function of the pancreas (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency). The dosage depends on the severity of the pancreatic digestive weakness and is usually 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. The tablets should be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid. Interactions with other medicines are possible, so you should tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines. Meteozyme should not be taken if you are allergic to simeticon and pancreatin from porcine pancreas or any of the other ingredients of the medicine. There are no known side effects of simeticon.
