Gastritol® Liquid is a herbal medicine that helps with digestive problems and supports a relaxed and strong digestive system.Gas and bloating can have various causes, such as stress, a sensitive stomach lining, heavy or spicy food, and the consumption of irritants such as nicotine or alcohol.Gastritol® Liquid relieves these complaints naturally.It contains plant extracts from chamomile flowers, cinquefoil, licorice root, angelica root, St. Benedict's herb and wormwood.

Gastritol® Liquid is a traditional herbal medicine used in adults to relieve mild digestive complaints such as bloating and flatulence, as well as mild cramp-like discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract.

The ingredients of Gastritol® Liquid include the following plant extracts: extract of goose cinquefoil, licorice root, angelica root, St. Benedict's herb, wormwood and chamomile flowers.It contains ethanol 96% (V/V) and purified water as excipients.

Contraindications

You must not use Gastritol® Liquid if you are hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients, to daisy plants or to any of the other ingredients.The medicine should also not be used in cases of obstruction of the bile duct, inflammation of the bile ducts and liver diseases, during pregnancy and breastfeeding as well as in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Dosage

Adults take 30 drops of Gastritol® Liquid three times a day or in a little liquid after meals.

Intake

The drops should be taken in a little liquid with or after meals.

Patient information

If you suffer from gallstones or other biliary tract diseases, you should consult a doctor before using the medicine.Avoid sunbathing because of the ingredient angelica root.No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy

The safety of Gastritol® Liquid during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been adequately studied, particularly with regard to the angelica root component.Pregnant and breastfeeding women must not take the medicine.Use in women of childbearing potential who are not using contraception should be carefully considered.

Notes

Gastritol® Liquid contains 40% alcohol by volume.Please avoid sunbathing because of the angelica root component.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.
