Gastritol® Liquid

Gastritol® Liquid is a traditional herbal medicine used in adults to relieve minor digestive complaints such as bloating, flatulence and mild cramp-like discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract.These symptoms can be triggered by stress, a sensitive stomach lining, rich, fatty or spicy foods, and the consumption of nicotine or alcohol.Symptoms can include stomach pressure, heartburn and stomach pain.

Mode of action

Gastritol® Liquid stimulates the formation of digestive juices such as saliva, pepsin and bile.The effect begins as soon as it comes into contact with the tongue.The preparation helps with mild inflammation in the gastrointestinal area and has an antispasmodic effect.The licorice extract it contains protects the irritated stomach lining, supports digestion and relieves discomfort.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Gastritol® Liquid contains the following active ingredients: 0.05 ml angelica root fluid extract, 0.05 ml Benedictine fluid extract, 0.35 ml goose cinquefoil fluid extract, 0.2 ml chamomile blossom fluid extract, 0.15 ml licorice fluid extract and 0.05 ml wormwood fluid extract.Ethanol 96% (V/V) and purified water are included as excipients.

Application and dosage

Adults take 30 drops three times a day or in a little liquid after meals.The application should not last longer than two weeks.If symptoms or side effects persist, a doctor or other qualified person should be consulted.There is no sufficient data to provide specific dosage recommendations for impaired kidney function.

Contraindications

Gastritol® Liquid must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or other ingredients, if the bile duct is blocked, inflammation of the bile ducts and liver diseases, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Patient information

If you have gallstones or other diseases of the biliary tract, you should consult a doctor before use.Sunbathing should be avoided because of the angelica root component.No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.

Ingredients

10 ml (= 9.7 g) Gastritol® Liquid contains: 3.5 ml goose cinquefoil extract, 1.5 ml licorice root extract, 0.5 ml angelica root extract, 0.5 ml St. Benedict herb extract, 0.5 ml wormwood extract and 2.0 ml chamomile flower extract.Other ingredients are ethanol 96% (V/V) and purified water.
